Great place, great host and fantastic location, always worth popping in.keep up the good work mate!

Had a great time Saturday afternoon at Anchored. Great beers, good company and lots of inspiration. Thanks Nigel. Jane & Simon.

Very nice lunchtime drink at Anchored. Deserves to do well. Geraldine Blake

Hi Nigel! When is the next private air display on? The first time I went to this lovely little pub the Battle Of Britain flight flew above the "Anchored" Good luck mate, I will bring mad Bramble (Labradoodle) in next time- so hold on to your pints! Andy and Madeline

First visit on Monday, quiet night but the welcome and drink and atmosphere far beyond expectations. Wished we lived close enough to make it the 'local'. Mine host certainly knows how to be a host, good conversation, not pushy, not standoffish, pretty much spot on. Will most certainly return. Good luck, hope it all goes well. Roy.

Please feel free to enter any comments or requests for details about how to get your own Micropub up and running, suggestions of where I might want to go and sample some fine ales or of any new brewers within Sussex.

Found your fantastic pub by accident three years ago when we came to Worthing for a wedding. No chance to come back since but will be back next May and can't wait to have a few with you again.

Thrilled to see you won Pub of the Year 2017 - well deserved - really pleased you have the recognition you deserve.

Called in when I found The Anchored quite by chance when on a day trip to Worthing. I normally imbibe at The Kings Ditch in Tamworth. The Anchored would be my local if I lived in the South East. Nigel makes a great mine host. Colin

I’ one of the guys from Birmingham who was in your pub yesterday afternoon. Sorry I left without saying goodbye to you properly but wanted to say what an excellent pub you run. Me and my friend were both very impressed with both the ambience of the pub and the quality of the beer. Wishing your pub all the very best for the future. Hope to re-visit some time

I want an *Anchored in Worthing* pub in every town, the length and breadth of Ireland. Sick of chemical multinational 'beers'.

Well, I've been a blogger & follower of yours for a few years now, never met you but always been interested in your comings and goings. You've always had time for a bit of banter and exchange of pleasantries. I'm delighted that your dream has been achieved mate. It's too far from the South Riding of Yorkshire to kind of pop in for a quick half and a pie but I wish you all the best and who knows, if ever get lost on our way to Holland, you might see us one day. Yours in Harvest Pale, Mick. Oh we rarely do pubs but this one is owned by our friends and it is the dogs danglies for real beer and it's where our Aussie mates stay when they are over for the stockcar racing. http://www.castlerockbrewery.co.uk/site/?page_id=15

Mark said on Aug 29, 2013 2:09 PM

Congratulations on the opening of the latest micropub, Nigel. Hope to get down to Worthing one day to enjoy a pint or two.
